National Underwear Day :: Sexy guys, hot styles, and more!
Can you judge a book by its cover? Can you judge a man by his underwear? Probably not, but it sure can be fun trying. A naked man is obviously sexy, but when a dude’s working some hot underwear; there’s a little mystery- what’s behind door # 3? A guy in a well made pair of briefs, particularly if he’s sporting an elaborate, whimsical or blatantly smutty pair, knows the value of presentation. Sometimes you sell the sizzle, not the (tube) steak.
On August 9th, The Fresh Pair Website staged the 4th annual National Underwear Day celebration.
"On National Underwear Day, underwear finally gets the recognition it truly deserves," says Michael Kleinmann, President of Freshpair.com.
Taking over ’Military Island’ in Manhattan’s Times Square (sounds like a summer popcorn flick, but really it’s just an army recruitment center), Fresh Pair and its sponsors descended on midtown with a question:
"BRIEFS ON THE RISE, THONGS HOLDING STEADY: WHAT WILL NEW YORKERS WEAR ON THIS YEAR’S NATIONAL UNDERWEAR DAY?"
The N.U.D. (nude, get it?) event drew spectators with a phalanx of young beautiful bodies stripped down to nothing but their stylish, sexy under things. Perfect bodies shining in the sun, the boys were showing off their physiques in skivvies from many of the sponsor brands that Fresh Pair sells on their website including Play Underwear, RIPS, Wax and many more.
Officially titled ’underwear ambassadors’, these specimens of physical deliciousness hit the runway, serving up a sizzling mid-day underwear fashion show in the hot summer sun. Let me tell ya, there’s nothing like being around a bunch of sculpted, nearly naked 20 year old underwear models to make one feel like a fat old bitch.
One by one, they hit the catwalk for the cheering, leering crowd of midtown workers and startled tourists, each morsel more delectable than the last. Jockstraps to boxers, low rise briefs to square cut skivvies, every conceivable style of underwear was on display. The weather was perfect for an outdoor underwear fashion show, and as they strutted, all smooth skin, muscular bodies and barely covered privates, distinct differences between the styles and brands began to emerge.
iBoxers
