This slender, self-published how-to guide offers a mix of yoga and Pilates inspired exercises designed to help release your inner six-pack. The novelty of the presentation comes in the promise that no special equipment is required. Instead, 50 exercises are presented that enable the reader to bend and stretch the belly fat away.

To its credit, the book details the exercises in succinct explanatory paragraphs that detail how the exercise should be performed. As guide books go, this one is extremely user friendly. To its detriment, however, the book illustrates its exercises with quotidian black and white photographs of a single female exercise model whose abs are covered by a tank-top in every shot. The reader never gets to see the end results of the exercises, which could easily raise questions whether all of this contortionist twisting is worth the effort.
